A Pop-in™ event is not the same as a traditional photography experience, we offer a quick bite of professional photography and book as many poppets as we can fit into the same day to keep our prices ridiculously low - so everyone gets a little bit of something valuable for as little money as possible.
To keep our events running efficiently, our portraits are always taken in the exact same way, and we offer special events with fewer bookings available for trickier shoots like sibling specials and family portraits.

Monthly Pop-in Portraits
For babies, bumps, and children of all ages!
One child, one photo, for only $25.
Open just one day a month with a professional photographer. Your photo is included.

Family Pop-in Portraits
A $90 family shoot for up to two parents and one or two children. You get 5 minutes in the studio and 1-3 digital photos sent after the session in the usual Pop-in™ fashion.

Merry Pop-in Portraits Hobart
Our Merry Pop-ins are seasonal portraits of your little poppets in our trademark Pop-in chair, for this special our normal white backdrop is swapped for a special Christmas backdrop.
Merry Pop-ins are just like our Monthly Pop-ins, only Christmassy. One child, one photo for $20 a pop. No scary Santa's here!
Add-ons available to include siblings and the whole family.

Sibling Pop-in Portraits
In the school holidays we offer special events for you to have 2 or 3 children photographed together for $60 per booking.
Your session fee includes one digital portrait only but we have been known to send through the occasional extra from time to time. You can optionally choose to add individual portraits to your sibling booking too ($20 a pop) so you only need to come along once in that month.

Mother's Day Pop-in
Taking place during April/May, this offers you a chance to capture a gorgeous portrait of your kids (max 3) with their Mum for just $50 a pop.
Includes your best photo as a digital download.

Father's Day Pop-in
Exactly the same as our Mother's Day Pop-in™, only this time just for the blokes, and available in August/September each year. Capture Dad with the kids (max 3) for just $50 a pop.

How it all works
How to book
Click 'book now' to choose from available dates. As a licensed photographer, I offer Pop-ins just once per month.
Booking online is essential.
By creating an account on the Pop-ins website I can easily upload and send your digital portraits after your shoot.
Payment is due at the time of booking online to secure your spot. My events sell out quickly so make sure you are booked in advance to avoid missing out.
To prepare
Once you've secured your booking the only thing left to prepare is your child's special outfit, see our Popaholics group for outfit inspiration! Our photographers are experienced professionals and know exactly how to get the best out of every poppet, you're in safe hands.
On the day
When you arrive at your event go to My Pop-ins, click 'Check in'. You will receive a text message when it's your turn to Pop-in™. Please wait in your car or outside the studio until you are called in. If your baby is due a feed or a change there's no rush, just let the next in line go ahead of you so your baby is at their happiest for their photo.
At Pop-ins up to 20 other children are booked for the same time slot. Each child takes only a few short minutes to photograph. Your timeslot is super flexible, come along any time within the hour. You can expect to wait for around 5-15 minutes for your turn.
When will I get my portrait?
You will receive an email from me within 7 days of your shoot with a link to download your portrait. You can check your account any time to view your portraits new and old.
Your photo is high resolution and ready to print/share, just click 'download printable' or 'download shareable' to download the copy/s you need.
If you don't receive an email or your photos aren't showing when you click through to view, please contact us.
I would love to see more shots from my Pop-in™, my baby was being so cute! I'm happy to pay extra.
You can request alternatives or alterations to your Pop-in portraits using the 'feedback' module. You have two weeks after you receive your Pop-in to request another. Fees may apply.
Our Pop-ins can only be so affordable if we make them as efficient as possible. You can trust my judgement to choose the best photo for you, and I've been known to throw in a spare here and there for free if there are multiple photos worth framing.
